Lending a helping hand to families
through Volunteers of America
More than two million people a year feel the helping
hand of Juice Plus+® through our support of Volunteers
of America (VOA). Founded in 1896, VOA is one of
America’s largest and most comprehensive charitable
human services organizations. From rural America to
inner-city neighborhoods, VOA provides outreach programs
that help support and empower the most vulnerable
members of our society.
VOA is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health and
housing organizations. More than 88 cents of every
dollar spent by VOA goes directly to services.
Whether it’s a working family that can’t afford housing
, an infant in need of adoption, or a troubled teen who
simply needs a little guidance, Volunteers of America
strives to offer any services necessary to help people
rebuild their lives.

Providing a positive place for kids
with Boys & Girls Clubs of America
In every community, boys and girls are left to find
their own recreation and companionship in the streets.
An increasing number of children are home alone without
any adult care or supervision. Young people need to know
that someone cares about them.
Boys & Girls Clubs offer the care children need and
more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the
development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of
competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence.
Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow -
all while having fun. They are truly The Positive Place
For Kids. Learn more about them at

Bringing healthcare to the poor
through the Church Health Center
Since 1987, the Church Health Center and its doctors,
nurses, dentists, and other health professionals have
provided quality, affordable healthcare for working
uninsured people and their families. By uniting diverse
religious congregations in Memphis, Tennessee with the
community at large, the Center has grown into the
largest faith-based clinic of its type in the country,
caring for more than 55,000 patients without relying on
government funding ¬- and actively serving as a model
for similar efforts in other cities.
Like Juice Plus+®, the Church Health Center is committed
to health education and prevention, winning the 2003
Innovations in Prevention Award from the U.S. Department
of Health and Human Services. They staff and operate a
comprehensive 80,000-square-foot wellness facility
offering everything from personalized exercise plans and
cooking classes to group exercise classes and many other
activities for children and teens. Clinic patients and
wellness participants are charged fees on a sliding
scale based on income and family size.

Helping UNICEF do whatever it takes to save a child
25,000 children under the age of 5 die every day from
preventable causes. Malnutrition, poor hygiene, and lack
of access to safe water and adequate sanitation
contribute to more than half of these deaths. Juice
Plus+® and its growing network of Juice Plus+® Master
Distributors around the world are proud to help save,
protect, and improve children's lives by supporting the
United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) through the
Juice Plus+® Children’s Foundation.
Operating in more than 150 countries, UNICEF has a
proven track record of more than 60 years of experience
saving children's lives - and is recognized and trusted
as one of the most efficient non-profit organizations in
the world. With its on-the-ground staff and one of the
largest supply networks in the world, UNICEF supports
and operates far-reaching programs that help children
survive and thrive - and will continue to do so until no
more children die needlessly, anywhere.
